Acuigen is voted the most innovative business in Bedfordshire

Acuigen has been awarded the Business Innovation Award at the Bedfordshire Business Awards 2016.

The awards - launched this year by Bedfordshire on Sunday and sponsored by Barclays - recognise the hardworking local businesses and people achieving success in our community. From almost 200 entries, category judges whittled the entrants down to just one winner in each of our 14 categories.

In this category, judges were looking for a business that has introduced a new product, process, invention, idea, or design that has made a significant contribution to the business, its customers and/or the wider marketplace.

As a pioneer in customer experience management, Cranfield market research company Acuigen provides client feedback solutions to law firms around the world.

The judges were impressed with the truly global client base of this innovative firm, and dedicated work to nurture the next generation.

“We are delighted to have been recognised for our innovation, technology and services to clients around the world. We always strive to develop the best and most innovative customer feedback solutions for our clients, working closely with them to create success. We are very excited to have been honoured with this award, which we hope will help prove that Acuigen is a truly innovative supplier of client and customer feedback solutions.” Derek Jones, Managing Director

Three shortlisted entries in this category faced a panel of core judges, who decided the winner. This panel included the Chief Executive of the Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce; the Editor of the Beds on Sunday; the Managing Director of LSN Media; Richard Fuller, MP for Bedford and Kempston and a member of the government’s business select committee; and the local area manager for Barclays.

The decision was announced on the night of the glittering awards ceremony at Bedford Corn Exchange on November 17.

Jon Corbett, director, Head of SME, South East Midlands & Cambridgeshire, Barclays, said: “This is a true indication of the dedication and commitment businesses around the region have to grow and succeed.

“There continues to be some terrific success stories across this part of the region, and we are committed to helping our clients to realise their growth ambitions. That’s why we were delighted to be the headline sponsor the 2016 Bedfordshire Business Awards.”
