Nigel is an experienced marketer and sustainability professional with over 20 years’ experience in sustainability management, services marketing and professional advisory businesses.

Nigel has an Economics degree from Bristol University, an MBA from IESE in Barcelona and a post-graduate diploma from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership. Early in his career, he worked in international finance in the City of London and for a global management consultancy firm. In 1996 he was appointed Marketing Director of a major UK law firm where he developed with us and the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) the first professional qualification for marketers in the professional services sector.

Since 2002 he has worked in the environmental consultancy and sustainability management sector and most recently was the Head of Group Marketing for SLR, a global environmental and sustainability consultancy. 

Nigel's interests focus on marketing in the services sector and environmental and social responsibility across all industries. He has led the development of our marketing programmes for students and apprentices in professional services firms, the Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability apprenticeship programme, and the new CIM diploma module in Sustainable Marketing.

Nigel is also a Non-exec. Director of PSMG, the membership organisation for marketers in professional services, and the lead author of both the Professional Services Marketing Handbook and the Professional Services Leadership Handbook.   

Terms of Booking and Cancellation Policy

Receipt of your booking indicates acceptance of liability to pay the attendance fee. Cancellations received in writing more than 7 days before the seminar will be refunded, less £10 administration fee. We regret that no refunds are allowed for cancellations or transfers within 7 days or for non-attendance. PSMG reserves the right to refuse admission if payment is not received prior to the event. 

Important note: The booking email constitutes a legally binding contract. It may be necessary for reasons beyond the control of PSMG LLP to change the content and timing of the programme, the speakers, the date and venue. Whilst every effort will be made to prevent this, in the unlikely event of the programme being cancelled, PSMG LLP will automatically make a full refund but disclaim any further liability.
