Obelisk Support is B Corp Certified

This past month, Obelisk Support | B Corp Certified has reached another huge milestone in its 13-year existence by becoming only the twelfth legal business to obtain B Corp certification.
So why B Corp? For Dana Denis-Smith, obtaining B Corp status is about embedding sustainability and good stewardship in the DNA of your business and putting these crucial values at the core of everything you do.
All responsibly-minded founders worry that the good principles underpinning their business will become diluted over time but obtaining B Corp status prevents that from happening. Among other things, the certification requires you to change your Articles of Association to reflect your commitment to being a better business and to work in the interests of everyone involved and everybody that comes into contact with your business.
Every business has to ask itself what it contributes to the world. Everything is so up in the air in terms of the economic and natural environment, from the lack of security that people feel and problems surrounding diversity and inclusion to the burning issue of climate change. So it’s vital that businesses also walk the walk instead of just talking the talk.
