Industry and Environment Bank unveil a bold new brand to lead the future of biodiversity solutions
26 Feb 2025
Industry, the international brand consultancy, has partnered with Environment Bank to unveil a bold new brand, cementing its position as the UK’s leader in off-site biodiversity solutions. This strategic repositioning comes in response to recent legislative changes, which make Biodiversity Net Gain mandatory for developers, and supports Environment Bank’s transition from market-building to commercial growth.
Environment Bank is pioneering a market-led approach to biodiversity recovery, providing developers with legally compliant, science-driven solutions. Its Biodiversity Net Gain units and Nature Shares offer scalable solutions to combat biodiversity loss. To fully realise its potential, the company required a brand that not only reflects its expertise but also resonates with key stakeholders, including developers, landowners, corporates and policymakers.
Industry worked closely with Environment Bank to refine its brand positioning, articulate a compelling value proposition, and create a bold new visual identity.
The scope of work included:
- Brand positioning and messaging framework
- Visual identity refresh
- Brand guidelines
- Marketing playbook development
Sholto Lindsay-Smith, Founder and Director at Industry, said: “This was an exciting opportunity to help a pioneering organisation communicate its leadership and impact in the biodiversity space. The refreshed brand strategically positions Environment Bank for rapid growth and reinforces their leadership in driving large-scale biodiversity recovery.”
Fraser Rutherford, Head of Marketing at Environment Bank, added: “With just three months to be ready to go to market, Industry quickly grasped our business model and worked in close partnership with us to crystallise our offer, refresh our brand, and support us with the development of our website and core marketing materials.”
